Last March saw the opening of Kirby and Randy Rogel's new musical The Gypsy King at the Village Theatre in Issaquah, WA. The show had a very successful ten-week run. Hopefully The Gypsy King will start moving east next year.
Kirby is busy looking for a producer for his new screenplay, A Player Born. It was written over a three-week period while performing at the Peterborough Players in New Hampshire. You can read about it on his blog. You can also read about his other new projects, including Talking Heads, a musical theatre piece he and wife Beverly are creating for themselves, and a new screenplay for a movie featuring Bev's music called Open Mic.
This last summer Kirby was seen in the Williamstown Theatre Festival's production of STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE directed by David Cromer. Kirby continues his series of concert appearances all over the country. The last one was a very well received week with the Sunshine Pops in Boca Raton, FL where he and wife Beverly Ward starred with the legendary conductor Richard Heyman as they sang and danced to songs from the great American songbook. Composers Gershwin, Berlin, Kern and Hart were featured.

A film about a man who's uvula just doesn't measure up. Winner of Best Short Film at the Kent Film Festival. Written, directed and edited by Kirby. Read about it here on the film page — or watch it on the reels page. Then let us know what you think.
You can also visit the film's website and check out production photo's, read cast bios and peruse the script.
If you'd like to book the film to screen at your next film festival, go to the contacto page and send us a note. We;d be thrilled to be included in your next event.
